Randy is a 30-and-a-half year law enforcement veteran and retired from the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office in 2015 with training and assignments that range from undercover narcotics investigations to serving as the Director of Homeland Security for Columbus, Georgia. He attended the Command College at Columbus State University, and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Robertson had the pleasure of serving the citizens of Mississippi immediately following Hurricane Katrina and assisted in bringing the C.E.R.T. program from Los Angeles, California to Columbus, Georgia. He is active in the Fraternal Order of Police and currently serves as the President of the FOP Georgia State Lodge.
Randy is married to Theresa Garcia Robertson. The couple have two children and one granddaughter. The Robertsons are members of First Baptist Church in Columbus and reside in Cataula, Georgia.
